Today, many of these families are now third and fourth generation land owners, their legacy being the successful conservation of the highest density of big game in South Africa. The game in the Sabi Sands reserve is well habituated resulting in unforgettable close encounters and prolific sightings, particularly of the elusive leopard. The Sabi and the Sand Rivers run through the reserve, which add another dimension to the bio-diversity of this area, Arathusa Safari Lodge lies within the northern region of the exclusive Sabi Sands Game Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The lodge flanks the bank of a large lake, offering 180 degree views of the water and all the "Big 5" wildlife activity that it attracts. Three nights Arathusa.
